Driver Safety Science

Today in class, we started the following assignment:

Look at the 70 tips for Driver Safety at this website. Choose one of the tips that you can connect to a physical science concept we have studied this year.  Some broad topics include:

• Forces
• Motion
• Speed
• Laws of Motion
• Friction
• Light
• Sound
• Acceleration

1. Write a one page summary explaining how the science concept makes the driver safety tip a good idea.
2. Make a movie 2 minutes or less demonstrating the science behind your driver safety tip.

Use this  rubric  to guide your work.

Homework:  None - We will complete this assignment when you return from your trip to Savannah.
