Thursday/Friday

Today we completed an activity called "Something's Fishy Here" in our groups. We read a short story concerning water pollution and then groups wrote their own ending to offer solutions to the problem. Yesterday we spent the class period making up work that was missing for each student. All students got a copy of their missing work and was provided any game plans/copies/page #'s needed to get it completed. The grades are all updated! (genEd) All late work has been inputted as well as the activity grade from today. If you see that your child is missing a grade- that means they did not comlete it or they did not turn it in!

Tomorrow we will begin to play Turtle Hurdles which is from Project Wild as well. I'll teach you how to play and we will research how sea turtle habitats are being destructed. Hopefully if the weather is nice Monday, we will go outside to play the game!

HW: Make sure you don't have any missing work to complete!!! Good job today! Frog dissections are coming up next week.

Tuesday

Today we watched the Evolve video on Communication or Flight. You turned in your notes for a grade.

I met with students to discuss grades, missing work, and to mark pages in thier book for the work to get done. I need this work no later than Friday!! Retention meetings are on Monday and I must have your final grades done.

Tomorrow we will be taking MORE time to make up missing assignments. IF you know what you are missing (and all of you should), go ahead and print the copy from the blog or start it in your textbook tonight. We will be completing it in class tomorrow ONLY. Those without make up work will be doing something more fun.
