AM SPANISH

Does not meet on Friday.

FRENCH The students worked on French pronunciation with a worksheet and power point. Pronunciation in French is very tricky, but the students did a great job!

The students worked on pronunication and listened to a song by Tego Calderon called Alegria.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7

AM SPANISH

The AM Spanish students worked on pronunciation and began TPRS day 2.

FRENCH

The students learned the TPRS vocabulary for day 2.

AM SPANISH

The AM Spanish students began TPRS day 1 and read the Mexican Folktale "Blanca Flor".

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9

AM SPANISH

The students took a test on regular -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugation.  The students watched a section of El Rey Leon. They also completed exercise 13 of the gold worksheet.

FRENCH

The students took Quiz 4-1c and worked on deuxieme etape with the workbook.

SPANISH

The students took a test on regular -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugation and completed exercise 13 from the gold worksheet.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 8

AM SPANISH

The students played the verb relay for extra point on the test tomorrow. We also completed a worksheet with exercises 1, 2, and 12.

The students watched the continuation of Nouvelles de Quebec and learned the conjugation for the verb faire.

The students reviewed for the test tomorrow. 2nd period completed the worksheet with exercises 1, 2, and 12. The students also watched Hakuna Matata from El Rey Leon.

December 05, 2008

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5

AM SPANISH

Doesn't meet on Friday.  Students were to pick up progress reports during homeroom.

FRENCH

Students received progress reports and completed 3 exercises in the book.

SPANISH

2nd period completed the verb chart and played the verb relay for bonus points for the test on Tuesday.

The remaining classes received their vocabulary and completed 3 exercises from a gold handout.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4

AM SPANISH

Did not meet.

FRENCH

The students received Chapter 4 vocabulary and the dates for the upcoming quizzes and test.

SPANISH

2nd period filled out the verb chart and translated sentences with gustar.

We began primer paso from Chapter 4 and completed workbook pages 37, 38, and 47.

FRENCH (NO HW)

The students completed a weather and seasons vocabulary entry.

SPANISH (NO HW)

2nd period reviewed -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugations and completed pages 37, 38, and 47 of the workbook.

The remaining classes translated sentences from Spanish to English, reviewed -ar verb conjugation and watched the end of Donde esta Maria Ines?

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2

AM SPANISH (HW-none)

Today in AM Spanish the students did -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugation review and then filled out the first page with ser, andar, comer, and subir.

FRENCH (HW-none)

Today in French the students began premiere etape with workbook pages and went over them.

SPANISH (HW-none)

2nd period went to the computer lab. The other classes completed the -ar, -er, and -ir verb conjugation review and completed exercises 3 and 4 on pages 38 and 39 of the workbook.
