We have had a great week and have gotten a lot covered.
LA: The students worked independently on writing source cards and note cards for their upcoming research project. They will use their reader's journey pg 473 for note taking example and pg 105 in their agenda for reference to how to cite sources. These will come in handy in the next couple weeks. The students cited 8 sources and wrote out 3 note cards for practice. We will begin our research project on Monday so class will be in the Lab 518. Bring your agenda and reader's journey with you.

SS: Students took vocabulary quiz on Unit 6 vocabulary. We then completed notes on the Unit 6 African History on your graphic organizers. Make sure you get this completed as it will be a great study guide for the unit test. We will go over the project on Monday that will be done for this unit.
