Today the students took their final nine week assessment/final exam for first, third, and fifth periods.  They will take the others tomorrow.  No homework was assigned.

Students should only bring a number 2 pencil to school tomorrow.  They should not bring backpacks or track bags.

Today the students continued to work on the reading activities they started on Friday.  They read two short stories and answered comprehension, critical thinking, and skill focus questions. This is to prepare them for the final essential question quiz they will have tomorrow and for the final exam.  For homework, the students should use the words below to write a paragraph describing one of the stories and how each of the vocabulary words are evident in the story.  This will help prepare them for the essential question quiz.
