Today in class: I collected textbooks in class today, so if you were absent please bring your textbook to me. Also, a grade was given for the Final Study Guide on completion. We started going over the study guide. If you did not finish, you need to finish tonight for homework.

Today in class: We watched a video on Geometry which reviewed geometry basics, constructions, and transformations. We are getting ready for the 9 Weeks Assessment next week! "Can You Afford this Car" assignment was taken up today for a grade. If you were absent, please make sure I get that assignment when you return to school.
Homework: Final Study guide needs to be completed by Monday. If you lost your copy, please print out another one from the link below.

In class: We walked through a worksheet "Can you afford this car?" together as a class. After that, students chose a car from a basket and completed another worksheet to figure out if they could afford the car they chose.

Today in class: students took guided notes on "So You Want to Buy a Car?" (attached). We then continued working on the Final Study Guide.

Homework: Both Shopping worksheets are due to me tomorrow.
**For shopping worksheets: Multiply original price by sale (if it's 40% off, multiply by .60). That gives you sales price. Multiply sales price by tax (as a decimal). That gives you tax paid. Then add tax paid and sales price to find final cost.
