May 21 - 22 (Thursday and Friday next week) - final exams
I emailed parent a few weeks ago to let them know how to prepare their student for the final. We will be giving out a study guide late this week or early next week. Students should should old test, quizzes, homework assignments, and warm ups. You can also check out the parent letters on the pages section of the blog for websites, extra problems, and step-by-step instructions on content.
I believe the best way to start is to find out where are the gaps your student has in the 6th grade content or what is it that they have forgotten over the year. One way to do this is to give them a practice final. Take old tests, quizzes, homework questions from the on-line textbook or workbook and combine them for your student to complete. This will give you a good indication on where to start studying with your student. Please use all the resources I have given you on the blog and that are on the on-line textbook to help your student prepare.
Thank you to all the parents who read this blog and take action to ensure their student's success!
