Mon.- Foods Unit Test and presentation work day
Tues.- Friday- The students have been working on their "Foods, Nutrition, Wellness and Culinary Cumulative Project" presentations. (They worked in class with the traveling computer lab on research on Friday.) This will be a double grade as it falls under two separate standards. They have a hand-out with all of the details. Essentially, they will present their food topic- as studied in class (via power point and a creative presentation)- along with a sample of the food item to the class. If the food item can not be sent, it is fine. The student must tell me 24 hours in advance so points will not be removed from the rubric. This is a great presentation that includes research, power point creation, presentation skills, culinary techniques, nutritional info, etc... It's all inclusive! Grades will be posted as the presentations are completed. They are doing great!
