This week's focus will be on "identifying and demonstrating acceptable behaviors for table service and etiquette." (Standard # FACS8-FNW1) Due to the Early Release schedule, I will see each class on alternating days. (ie... 6-1, 7-1, 8-1 on Mon., Wed., and Fri. then 6-2, 7-2, 8-2 on Tues., & Thurs.)
Monday- Acceptable business etiquette- eye focus, hand-shaking, rising for a visitor, opening doors, etc.
Tues. - Repeat for the alternating class
Wed. Dining etiquette- formal and informal situations &
Importance of writing thank you notes GRADED- DUE THURSDAY
Thurs.- Repeat for the alternating class
Fri.- .-"Pay It Forward" school-wide activity to spread the use of manners &
"The Table Manner Murders" detective work to spot poor use of manners
